The night before a big event always ends up with a counter full of fresh breads and cookies that are hard not to sample!

You can come get a loaf of sourdough, old fashioned rye, dill bread, pesto swirl bread, or Challah or some delicious monster cookies tomorrow The Teal Door - Garrison, ND! As always everything is made by hand in small batches - they go fast!

Caramel rolls and cinnamon rolls are ready for market today! I doubled the batch - you have twice as many opportunities to get a pan for yourself at farmers market from 9-11 this morning in front of Memory Fireworks. They go fast!

Here's a recipe I haven't made for a while - my grandma's old fashioned rye bread.

You might notice that its a bit lighter in color that your typical store bought rye - thats because it gets its coloring from molasses, not the cocoa that commercial rye typically has.

You can get a loaf to try for yourself at tomorrow's harvest market on main from 4:30-6.
