Save the date! Every month we host a special fundraiser for the Orange County Deaf Equal Access Foundation (OC DEAF) right here at Shakey's Garden Grove.

In case you don't know, the mission of the Orange County Deaf Equal Access Foundation (OC DEAF) is to ensure equal access of the deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, and deaf-disabled community to the same opportunities afforded their hearing counterparts. The organization’s general purposes and powers are directed around the promotion of the social, recreational, cultural, educational, and vocational welfare of its deaf, hard-of-hearing, deafblind and deaf-disabled constituents.

We are so incredibly honored to welcome them back again this month on February 15th. Join us from 6pm to 8pm to raise some dough for this amazing cause.

In case you don't know, the mission of the (Orange County Deaf Equal Access Foundation (OC DEAF)) is to ensure equal access of the deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, and deaf-disabled community to the same opportunities afforded their hearing counterparts. The organization’s general purposes and powers are directed around the promotion of the social, recreational, cultural, educational, and vocational welfare of its deaf, hard-of-hearing, deafblind and deaf-disabled constituents.

Today's the day!

We are honored to welcome the Orange County Deaf Equal Access Foundation (OC DEAF) back for another fundraiser at Shakey's!

Please join us at the Shakey's in Garden Grove today from 6pm to 8pm to grab dinner and raise some dough for an amazing cause. 25% of all food and soft drinks proceeds will be donated.

In case you don't know, the mission of the (Orange County Deaf Equal Access Foundation (OC DEAF)) is to ensure equal access of the deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, and deaf-disabled community to the same opportunities afforded their hearing counterparts.

They provide services like Advocacy, communication assistance, employment services, family outreach, peer counseling, interpreter referrals, independent living skills, information & resources, educational workshops and deaf sensitivity trainings for the community.

(Their services are provided for free for the dhh community.)
