Do you prefer a textured base cake or a smooth cake?

Honestly, a smooth cake is so much more difficult to achieve. The perfectionist in me has to remove all the air bubbles and visible lines to get a smooth finish. A textured cake brings out the artist in me. But only I can decide when I’m satisfied with the outcome.

Hi! I’m a baker that just moved to OC from Vegas! Only had a couple orders this month. My goal for January was to bake at least once a week whether it’s orders, to fulfill cravings, or experiment. Cravings were def fulfilled with the banana cookies and caramel cake. Experimenting with the Japanese Cheese Cake was a win!!
My goal for February is double the amount of orders and more experiments.
