It is with great sadness that we share the loss of our very own, Tish Toups.

An amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. Her smile was what greeted many people at our drive thru window. She has been a major pillar of the Kajun Twist for the last 32 years, but most importantly she was my beautiful mother. She will be greatly missed by so many, and her loss will be felt for a lifetime.

We will be closed on Monday, December 16th, for her service and to celebrate her life. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano at 11:00am on Monday, December 16, 2024.

Please keep her in your prayers as she makes the journey to her family that has preceded her.

It is with great sorrow that we share the loss of the rock of our family and the heart of the Kajun Twist, Mr. Anthony “Toupsie” Toups.

Mr. Anthony has had the Kajun Twist in Galliano for over 30 years and various members of his family have had the pleasure of operating it with him over the years. In recent years, they have expanded to Lockport and opened the Kajun Twist & Grill.

Mr. Anthony never met a stranger. He had such a big heart and personality, it was hard not to love him. He will be deeply missed.

We will be closed on Monday, January 29th, to celebrate the life of Mr. Anthony Toups. Family and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano at 11:00 on Monday, January 29th, 2024.

Good morning! ☀️ Shea Goldsmith is happy to share that she’s started a Little Free Library at our new location 🙂 We hope that the community enjoys this addition, especially the children! The idea is to take a book, share a book—but you do not need to share one in order to take one. We intend to keep the children’s books stocked as best as we can. If anyone has any questions, please let us know! 📚
