To Our Martin’s Chicken & Waffles Family,

As many of you know, Martin’s Chicken & Waffles closed our restaurant doors on May 31st. This decision comes as a result of the building being sold, and while this chapter is ending, our catering services will continue.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for every meal shared, every kind word, every recommendation, every social media post, and every time you chose to support our dream. Your support has meant more than words can express.

As we reflect on this journey, we ask that you continue to support small businesses, especially Black-owned businesses. Behind every small business are real people—not robots. We are parents, spouses, friends, and neighbors who pour our hearts, time, money, and energy into serving our communities.

Small businesses face challenges every day, and sometimes mistakes happen. We ask for grace and understanding, remembering that there are human beings behind every order, every phone call, and every interaction. A little kindness can go a long way.

Your support has helped us build memories that will last a lifetime, and we are forever grateful. While our restaurant doors may close, the relationships we’ve built and the love we’ve shared with this community will remain.

Mo and Aretha here we would like to share an important update with our community.

Due to the building being sold by the property owner, our restaurant location will be closing its doors on May 31st.

This is not goodbye—just a new chapter.

We are incredibly grateful for the love, support, and memories shared with each and every one of you. From family meals to celebrations, you’ve made this journey unforgettable.
