🍀 Well now, if you're lookin' for a reason to leave the lawn mowing for another day, Frank O'Dowd's has you covered all weekend long!

🎶 Thursday Night (6pm–9pm)
The wonderful Wendy Lynn Markus takes the stage to kick things off with an evening of great music and good craic.

🎸 Friday & Saturday Nights (7pm–10pm)
Straight out of Waterloo, Dennis Wayne will be fillin' the pub with tunes, stories, and enough energy to keep your pint from gettin' lonely.

💃 Saturday Afternoon
The talented McNulty Irish Dancers will be tappin' and twirlin' their way through the pub at 3:30pm and again at 5:00pm. If that doesn't put a smile on your face, you may need another Guinness.

🎤 Sunday (5pm–9pm)
We'll wrap up the weekend with the lovely Lexi Healey, helping everyone ease gently into Monday with great music and Irish hospitality.

You'll find us at Walmart in Platteville from 12pm–7pm serving up your favorite Irish pub fare.

We're heading to the Great Galena Balloon Race from 5pm–9pm. Come for the balloons, stay for the food, and leave wondering why you didn't order one more basket of chips.

So gather your friends, bring your appetite, and join us for a weekend full of music, dancing, food, and plenty of Irish cheer.

The music is flowing almost as freely as the Guinness this weekend, and we've got a lineup that'll have your toes tapping and your pint glass raised high!

🎻 TONIGHT (Thursday) | 6 PM - 9 PM
The Amadans return to fill the pub with their signature Irish sound, good craic, and enough energy to make an old leprechaun dance.

🔥 Friday & Saturday | 7 PM - 9 PM
The incredible Hearthfire Duo makes their monthly visit to Frank O'Dowd's! If you've seen them before, you already know why the pub fills up when they're in town. If you haven't... well, you're in for a treat.

🎤 Sunday | 5 PM - 8 PM
Wrap up the weekend with the lovely Kristina Castaneda. Beautiful vocals, great atmosphere, and the perfect soundtrack for one last pint before Monday comes knocking.

Great food. Great music. Great company.

Calling All Galena Vendors!

At Frank O'Dowd's Irish Pub and the Irish Cottage Inn & Suites, we are excited to celebrate Independence Day with our community and would love for you to be a part of it!

We are inviting local Galena vendors, artisans, makers, and small businesses to join us for our 4th of July Celebration by setting up a FREE vendor booth at our event.

There are no vendor fees and no commissions. Whatever you sell, you keep 100% of the proceeds. This is simply our way of supporting the incredible businesses that make Galena such a special place to live, work, and visit.

Our goal is to create a fun, festive community gathering that showcases the talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of Galena while giving visitors and locals alike a chance to shop local and celebrate together.

Vendor Space Includes:

Complimentary booth space
Access to event guests and visitors
A fun, family-friendly Independence Day atmosphere
The opportunity to connect with the Galena community

If you would like to reserve a space or have questions, please contact us as soon as possible. Space is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Andrew Huber takes the stage! The man's got more talent in his little finger than most folks have in their entire family tree. Come grab a pint and see for yourself.

🎤 SATURDAY | 7PM - 10PM
The Danny Parker Project rolls into Frank O'Dowd's! If your feet aren't tappin' by the second song, ye might want to check if you've still got a pulse.

🎶 SUNDAY | 5PM - 8PM
The legendary Barry Cloyd closes out the weekend with stories, songs, and enough musical wizardry to make a leprechaun question his own magic.

This past Sunday, The OGRES, a dedicated cycling group from the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, proudly represented Frank O'Dowd's Irish Pub & Grill while logging miles on the open road.

Sporting their custom Frank O'Dowd's jerseys, these riders carried a little piece of Galena with them as they tackled another Sunday ride. The OGRES are known not only for their love of cycling but also for the camaraderie, friendship, and determination that make every ride memorable.

We're honored to have such a great group representing Frank O'Dowd's beyond the walls of the pub. Whether they're climbing hills, chasing miles, or sharing stories after the ride, they embody the same spirit of community and fellowship that we've built our pub around for more than 20 years.

A special salute to the entire OGRES crew for flying the Frank O'Dowd's colors with pride. We can't wait to welcome you back to Galena for a well-earned pint and some Irish hospitality!

The lovely angel herself, Kristina Castaneda, returns to fill the pub with that heavenly voice of hers. Sweet saints above… the woman doesn’t sing songs, she casts spells upon the soul. Come settle in with a pint, a good meal, and let her music carry your worries away.
