Life Update: Since closing The Bean Counter, Coffee Bank, we’ve jumped back into real estate with a vengeance — and it feels so good to be back in full swing!

Between that and our newest adventure, Hooty Tooty Antiques & Collectibles, we’ve been keeping plenty busy.

The historic Bank of Galena has been repurposed once again! We’re now using the space as a showroom and local pickup location for our Marketplace sales through Hooty Tooty, and we’ve transformed the back room into our personal office.

This building has worn many hats over the years… and we’re grateful to continue its story.

Life is good. 💛

A heartfelt THANK YOU for nearly six amazing years of serving such an incredible community. We’ve laughed, cried, grown, and made some of the very best friends along the way — and we wouldn’t trade a single moment of it. 💛

Thank you for every cup shared, every conversation, every memory, and every ounce of support.

Now, give us just a few weeks as we transform the historic bank into a gallery showroom for Hooty Tooty Antiques & Collectibles — an extension of the shop we opened last month to support our Marketplace journey.

We’ll be sharing updates, sneak peeks, and links as this next chapter unfolds.

UPDATE: We’ve made an executive decision here at The Bean Counter, Coffee Bank — tomorrow, Friday, January 16th will be our final day in business.

While we originally planned to stay open through the 30th, our projects are piling up and Hooty Tooty is calling our name.

Final Farewell to Coffee ☕ The Bean Counter is ushering out the coffee era inside the historic Bank of Galena.

Beginning January 5th, we’ll reopen Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–2:00 PM, offering our Farewell Menu featuring our beloved staples:

• Assorted Pastries
• Bierocks
• Empanadas
• Ham & Cheese Bakes
• Espresso & coffee-based drinks

Join us as we savor these final weeks together.
Our final day of business will be January 16th.
We would love to see you!
