Employee Spotlight: Meet Grace! 🐟

Grace grew up in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands before moving to Gainesville after Hurricanes Irma and Maria to finish high school. She went on to attend the University of Florida and has been part of the Blue Gill team since we reopened in 2024!

Since then, she’s been a consistent cheerful presence around the restaurant. When asked what she enjoys about working at Blue Gill, Grace said she loves getting to eat her favorite foods and being part of a family-like team!

We’re grateful to have Grace as part of the Blue Gill team! 💙

Faith has been bartending for about five years, with the last three here at Blue Gill. She started with us at our old location and made the move to our new location in Butler Plaza with us!

If you’re looking for a good conversation at the bar, you’re in good hands with Faith!

When asked what she enjoys most about working at Blue Gill, she said, “Between the people I work with and the work/life balance, I am really happy to work here.”

As one of our many Florida natives, Faith makes time to visit her family in Sarasota whenever she can.
