Our founder tried to leave the restaurant business for fifteen years, particularly after a stint at Red Lobster where she was accused of starting a labor union and testified for friends in four successful harassment suits. Her other interests included scuba diving, film, politics, roller coasters, fine American whiskies and advocating for downtrodden waitpeople. In 1997 she started StaindApron.com

. By mid 2017 StainedApron.com’s home page had received over 1.3 million hits. We are planning to relaunch with a new website and previously unpublished stories. StainedApron.com would not exist without the help of restaurant workers around the planet who have submitted their stories. Please Submit Your Stories and let your voice be heard.
