Today we'd like to address something that happened at the truck.

To the gentleman who was extremely rude to one of our employees over paying $6.00 for one of our BBQ sandwiches, then demanded a refund after already knowing the price before ordering:

Our BBQ sandwiches aren't made with a couple of spoonfuls of meat. They're loaded with well over a quarter pound of slow-smoked pulled pork that takes hours to season, smoke, and prepare.

On top of that, each sandwich is piled high with pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, and our signature Apple Bourbon BBQ Sauce—ingredients that are not inexpensive. We pay full price for every ingredient, every supply, and every expense that goes into operating our small family business, and we also collect sales tax because we're required to pay it.

We work hard to give our customers a sandwich that's generous, flavorful, and worth every penny. We don't believe $6.00 is an unreasonable price for the quality and portion we serve.

We understand that not every menu item or price will be for everyone, and that's okay. But rudeness, intimidation, and disrespect toward our employees will not be tolerated. Our staff deserves the same kindness and respect that we strive to show every customer who visits us.

To everyone who continues to support us, encourage us, and treat our team with respect—thank you. Your support means more than you'll ever know. ❤️🌶️
