In Loving Memory of Lt. Helio Garcia

All of us at Rascals Cheesesteaks are heartbroken over the tragic loss of Lt. Helio Garcia. He was more than just a regular guest at our restaurant—he was part of our community, a kind and familiar face who brought warmth, strength, and kindness through our doors each time he visited.

We are deeply saddened by this unimaginable tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lt. Garcia’s family, friends, and the entire South Fulton Police Department during this incredibly difficult time. We honor his life, his service, and his sacrifice.

May his family somehow find moments of peace and comfort in the love and support surrounding them. His presence will be missed but never forgotten.

Today marks 18 years in business, and I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation. As a small, local restaurant, we wouldn’t be here without the incredible support of every single person who has walked through our doors.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many amazing people—some who started as customers but have become lifelong friends. The connections I’ve built along this journey are profound, and I cherish every one of them. You are more than just customers; you are the heart of what we do.

We take great pride in our work every single day, but the best part of our job isn’t just the food—it’s the people. The conversations, the laughter, the relationships we’ve built—that’s what makes this all worthwhile. I can truly say I love what I do, and it’s because of you.

To those who have supported us, believed in us, and even given us second chances when we’ve fallen short—thank you. None of us are perfect, and we all stumble at times, but your loyalty and understanding mean the world to us.
