The Frostburg Freeze has been the areas best place for a burger and shake since 1954. Our wide variety of ice cream and sandwich selections include old fashioned favorites such as Boston Shakes and Big T's, as well as new menu additions such as flavor burst and cheesesteak subs! Recently, we added Flavor Burst to our ice cream menu, which adds a stripe of flavor twisted into your ice cream, and wi

th over 10 flavors to choose from, you'll be sure to find a favorite! Our ice cream is naturally low in fat, and we offer sugar free selections as well. Operating as a seasonal business, the Freeze has employed over 250 members of Frostburg and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on community involvement, and are excited to see faithful customers return year to year. Each season brings new ideas for cruise-ins and theme nights, but most importantly, we are the only place where you can grab the best "Big T" and hot fudge sundae in town! Stop in to see us April through September and discover your favorite Freeze treat!

The slide is coming back! The Frostburg Freeze is proud to host the Nowaczyk Family Children's Literature Centre at Frostburg State University’s Pirates Ahoy! Annual After Party.

Join us at the Freeze on Wednesday, July 8 from 12-4.

Our $6 Kids Meal Special will includes a choice of chicken tenders, hot dog or hamburger, fries, applesauce, drink and a gold coin to be redeemed for a free small ice cream cone.

Due to the extreme outdoor temperatures, we're making a temporary adjustment to our hours. The heat around our grill has become too intense, and our air conditioning simply can't keep up.
