We promised chocolate.

We would never break a promise like that.

Meet the final special in this morning’s lineup:

Chocolate Cream Tarts.

A crisp, buttery tart shell filled with smooth, silky chocolate cream.

That first bite starts with the gentle snap of the pastry and immediately gives way to rich chocolate underneath — creamy, decadent and deeply chocolatey without needing to be overwhelmingly sweet.

We already gave you one apple pastry this morning.

Apparently that wasn’t enough.

Special #3 is our Apple Crumb Danish — and this one is all about texture.

It starts with our buttery laminated Danish pastry, folded and worked to create those delicate flaky layers.

Then come the apples.

Then the crumb.

So every bite gives you a little bit of everything: crisp pastry on the outside, tender buttery layers inside, soft baked apple and that rich crumb topping breaking apart over the top.

It’s part French pastry.

Part homemade apple crumble.

And entirely acceptable as breakfast.

This is exactly the kind of pastry we love making at Tulla — familiar flavors, made a little more special through the craft of handmade pastry.

Okay… now that we’ve had our apples, it’s time for pumpkin.

Meet special #2:

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin.

Soft, moist pumpkin cake with all that warm fall comfort you want this time of year, paired with rich cream cheese that adds just enough creamy tang to balance every bite.

This isn’t the kind of pumpkin pastry that just tastes like sugar and spice.

We want you to actually taste the pumpkin.

We want the crumb to be tender.

We want the cream cheese to make you stop for a second before taking the next bite.

And because everything at Tulla starts in our own kitchen, this one is made the same way we approach all of our pastries — from scratch, with real ingredients and a lot of attention to the little details.

Good morning, Frisco.

We’re starting this Saturday with something beautifully simple — the kind of pastry that reminds us why we love French baking in the first place.

Our Apple Galette begins with buttery, handmade pastry folded loosely around fresh apples, then baked until the fruit becomes soft and caramelized and those rustic edges turn crisp and golden.

No need to overcomplicate this one.

Good apples. Good butter. Handmade pastry. Time in the oven.

That’s it.

And somehow, when those things come together the right way, you get something that smells like fall before you even take the first bite.

Pair it with a hot coffee and your Saturday morning is officially off to a very good start.
