El Patio Original has been a Mexican food staple to Fremont for the past 30 years. The Lopez family began the restaurant in a hole in the wall located in the Glenmoor shopping center which no longer exists. Over the years they began to expand into the next available unit until they took over three or four units. The weekends were packed and line out the door proved that the Lopez family was onto s

omething. In 1998 they reopened the doors to El Patio after a much anticipated year of renovation and construction at the current location, 37311 Fremont Blvd, Fremont CA. Our loyal customers have passed the El Patio tradition over generations, it is amazing to see grandparents who brought their children, who now bring their children, and even in some cases the great grand children! El Patio Original continues to flourish thanks to our loyal customers who appreciate great Mexican Food. In recent years, the Lopez has finally retired from the restaurant business. Currently it has been under new ownership, Gilberto Godinez and Family who have taken great pride in keeping the restaurant to its standard and beyond. They have boosted customer service to make your visit to El Patio Original a more pleasurable one, as well as Creating a menu with all the original menu items and a whole lot of new and exciting items. Join us once again and try our Famous Super Burrito, delicious Menudo served everyday, our new Carnitas El Patio, the amazing Fish Taco Platter, our traditional Fajitas, The House Special Carne Asada Taco Platter, Our New delicous Tortas, for the Sea food lovers; the Shrimp Cocktail and Mojarra Frita, the hefty Ceviche platter, the traditional Chile Verde, or our Huevos con Chorizo breakfast served all day!
