These next two weeks are going to be wonderfully full and exponentially impactful.
💝Dine United continues, 5% of each day's revenue + tip jar money goes to NWIL United Way Dine United initiative!
💝Pay What You Can Exchange Model
💝Free Gifts and Crafts open to the public, come make some meaningful gifts!
It's even more special because
this is it folks....
📣These are the last two weeks that Full Circle Cafe & Collective will be open and operating.📣
The lease is up at the end of December, and the board will be reading my letter of intention this evening, so I figured it was time to make the announcement that :
📣Full Circle Cafe & Collective will be closed for good after Saturday December 20th.📣
Business is good. Numbers are fine. Traffic is what I could hope for.
The business is not closing because it is failing.
Which made this decision even more difficult.
The other part that made this decision incredibly difficult is you....the people,
the faces that come in, the people who get excited and inspired to find a place like this;
Every single human that has supported this venture in so many different ways has kept me inspired and motivated to keep showing up and that is something that I have not taken for granted even for a moment.
I'm incredibly humbled. I have no words for the way this community showed up for this business, and am certain that it is a testament to not only the community of Freeport, but the necessity for places like this in our town.
I could absolutely give you all the personal reasons why I am not continuing, but I don't want to. So I will share a quote that I read almost daily:
“The cost of a thing is the amount of what I call life which is required to be exchanged for it, immediately or in the long run.” -Henry David Thoreau
I do want to enjoy these last two weeks of this adventure and end on a really good great note; being an oasis for giving and receiving nourishment.
The cafe may be closing, but I'm not going anywhere.
Food in many forms; nourishment for the whole being....these passions and skills have been refined over this past year. I've expanded skills, learned new ones, and deepened my knowing in so many facets of food and business ownership.
What has been harvested from this experience will surely fuel the next chapter of nourishment and caregiving regardless the form it embodies as.
So let's enjoy these last two weeks.
These last 4 days. (F. 11-4 & Sat. 10-1)
Uplifting each other through food and creativity.
From the deepest creases of my gooey melty heart.....
THANKYOU FREEPORT
This community is pretty awesome.
It's an honor to serve you.
