NYC friends, you do NOT have to get on a plane to have a good water park day! 🌊😂

Mountain Creek Waterpark is such a fun summer escape from the city, and the rides?! We had a TIME. 😂 From the bigger thrill slides to just cooling off and enjoying the water, it’s definitely worth making the trip to Jersey.

And if you’re going with a group, GET THE CABANA. 👏🏾 Having our own space to sit, relax, eat and regroup between rides made the day so much better.

✨ I think I finally found my new braid spot! ✨

As someone who lives in Queens, I used to pay a toll every time I went to get my hair braided. But after finding Tedina Hair Braiding in Brooklyn, I can officially say… I’m done paying that toll. 😂

I got bra-strap length knotless braids in color #4, and they came out exactly how I wanted. They provide the braiding hair—you just bring your curly hair if that’s the look you’re going for.

The salon is clean, everyone was welcoming and respectful, and they’re open 24/7. They offer so many braid styles, sizes, and lengths, making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Now I need the braid girlies to help me out! 👇🏾

The curly hair I brought wasn’t my favorite (that was on me 😭), so drop your favorite curly hair brand for knotless braids in the comments! I need recommendations for my next appointment.
