This Thursday, we had the opportunity to host Agriculture students from CTE Academy as a stop on a tour of farms across the area.
Students toured the creamery, watched an egg washing demonstration, and visited the cattle, pigs, and chickens.
Berrybrook ice cream was provided as part of lunch, and we were told our ice cream was described as “fire” (which is a good thing!)

They say if you hold an empty pint of Berrybrook Almond Joy to your ear, you can hear the ocean...or something like that. Before this toasty tropical flavor can hit the shelves, we need your help giving it a name! Toasted coconut, toasted slivered almonds, and milk chocolate flakes...what do you think? Liam's choir visited Freeman last weekend and we fed them ice cream after their beautiful Thursday evening concert. One of Liam's profs had requested that a colleague chaperone bring a sample home for him in a thermos. Apparently, it survived all the way to Kansas! Glad you enjoyed it, Professor.
