A Magical Evening…

I’m counting down the days until my new cookbook, Seize the Supper, finds its way into your kitchens this October! To celebrate, I’m hosting a special supper that’s inspired by the very pages of the new book.

If you pre-order Seize the Supper and upload your receipt by August 12th at 11:59 PM EDT, you’ll be entered for a chance to join me for a very special experience - a private dinner at The Lost Kitchen for you and a guest, along with an overnight stay in our cabins at The Mill, and a beautiful breakfast the following morning.

I’ve been quietly working on a very special project for the past two years… and now I finally get to share it with you.

SEIZE THE SUPPER — my third cookbook in The Lost Kitchen series — is coming this fall.

This book is filled with simple recipes for heartfelt gatherings, but at its core, it’s really about noticing the moments right in front of us before they slip away. It’s about seizing life, savoring a good meal, and sharing it with the people you love most.

And please don’t tell my other two cookbooks… but this one? She’s my absolute favorite.

TAG SALE at TLK! This Saturday, May 2nd from 10am-2pm. We’ve been spring cleaning and gearing up for our 13th season at the mill and I’m retiring some of my ever growing dish collection. I’ve filled our dining room with handmade dish-ware from past dinners, cookbooks from my collection and more. Come take a peek and find a deal!

SPRING CAKE FEAST is coming!!!!

Join us Mother’s Day weekend to celebrate the arrival of spring here at The Lost Kitchen. The dining room will be filled with cakes of all kinds — the kind meant for sharing, for savoring, for a second slice you didn’t plan on but are so glad you took.

Our dear friend Cig Harvey will be with us, signing her beautiful books, Blue Violet and Emerald Drifters. We’ll have bubbles waiting down in the wine cellar, flowers everywhere you turn, and that unmistakable feeling of the season shifting just outside the doors.

Tickets drop this Saturday, April 25th at noon EST.

Farm-to-table has never just been about food for me — it’s about knowing the hands behind something, and the care it takes to bring it to life. It’s a way of moving through the world.

That’s part of why I chose ’s Overseas Delivery program for my last car. I was able to shape every detail, then travel with Michael to Sweden to meet it where it was made. We drove through the countryside, shared in the food and rhythm of that place, and spent time close to the source before it made its way home to Maine.

There’s something grounding in that — something we hold onto tightly at The Lost Kitchen.
