Good morning everyone. As many of you know, a very loved member of our community has passed away. Sue Huckaba was a loving, kind, and caring soul, but above all of that she was an amazing mother and grandmother. Sue was also a very active member of the church, attending Higdon Christian Church every Sunday and constantly spreading love throughout our town. Sue absolutely loved our key lime pie. She often told me that it was better than what she had in Key West, and we would laugh about pie and talk about family and vacations and so much more. We would like to honor Sue next weekend in the best way we can. So we will be selling slices of “Sue’s Key Lime Pie” all weekend long. Not only that, but every single dollar we make from pie this weekend will be donated to Higdon Christian Church in Sue’s name and in her honor. Slices will be available from September 5-6th all day long. If you would like to donate but don’t want pie, you can come by and we will add it to the total donations! So if you knew Sue, if she made an impact on you, or if you just want to support a good cause, stop in and grab a piece of Sue’s key lime pie and help us remember her…we love you Sue 🩷
