The Depot Cafe, Fredericktown

The Depot Cafe, Fredericktown The Depot Cafe, housed in a historic train depot, opened in February of 2016. Since that time, great food and great service have been the focus.

The tiny scratch kitchen continues to make homemade soups, salad dressings, sauces, entree's and desserts.

It's a beautiful Saturday.
We open at 11 am.
For lunch we have the new Italian Sausage Sub.
The new Turkey Patty Salad is available and is alpha gal friendly, including the Sage Apple C***r Vinaigrette.
Our pasta special is a Baked Beef and Pork Cannelloni.
Tonight starting at 4 pm we have our Lobster Cannelloni
Soup of the Day is a Chicken Noodle.

Rainy Fridays are a great day to go out.
For lunch we have a new Sandwich, the Italian Sausage Sub. An 8" sub rolled is grilled with garlic butter, then filled with Italian sausage, marina, cheeses and grilled onion and red bell peppers. Served with a side.
The Turkey Patty Salad is here for a while.
Our pasta special is a Baked Beef and Pork Cannelloni in a tomato cream sauce.
Tonight's seafood special is our Baked Lobster Cannelloni.
We are starting with a White Turkey Chili as our Soup of the Day.

I truly do love food, but if I had to pick a favorite type, it would be sandwiches.
New tomorrow, Friday, for lunch is an Italian Sausage Sub. We start with a grilled sub roll filled with grilled Italian sausage, house made marina, provolone cheese, grilled onions and red bell pepper, a little more sauce and some shaved parmesan. Messy? Oh yeah, but oh so good.

Thursday starts off with a White Turkey Chili as our soup of the day. Also alpha gal friendly.
The Turkey Patty Salad is a great alpha gal friendly option.
Southwest Steak Salad is available.
The pasta special for lunch is a Chicken Fettuccine in a Tuscan Cream Sauce.
Dinner's pasta special is a Baked Beef and Pork Cannelloni in a tomato cream sauce.
Tonight's seafood special will be a sautéed Trout Filet. An 8 ounce half trout filet is sautéed in a garlic butter, topped with parmesan cheese. Served with potato, vegetable and choice of soup or salad.

Tonight's Seafood special is a Shellfish Medley with Spinach Tortellini. Shrimp, bay scallops and lobster meat are tossed with spinach tortellini in a seafood based sauce with spinach and artichoke hearts.
