FEARLESS FANS. My apologies for going dark for two months. Two major life events happened in the last two months. Both events required me to be fearless. The first was LOVE. I met a beautiful woman last year and as our relationship grew I felt drawn to her. We connected on many levels and she checked all my boxes. However, we had some differences that weren't large for me but were for her. We spent a lot of the past two months with each other seeing if our love, and desire to be together, could overcome our differences. I fearlessly opened myself to our possible future. Regrettably, our love wasn't stronger than our differences and we've parted ways. She will always be special to me and the good memories will always remain.
The other event that has kept me away has been my 92-year-old father's health. I'm writing this post from the Phoenix airport after visiting my father who'd spent that past week fight a life-threatening infection. Two days ago, he made the fearless decision to stop the fight and entered hospice care. I'm eternally grateful for the chance to see my father, spend time with him, and to get to say goodbye. I know so many people don't get that blessings. My father is choosing to fearlessly meet the end of his life on his terms. He was an amazing father, but more importantly, he was my bet friend. I will miss him dearly.
