It’s with mixed emotions that we need to let our customers, and especially our regulars, know that we have decided to not renew our lease at the bakery. It has been an incredible privelege to become part of the neighborhood and the support since the beginning has been nothing but amazing, almost overwhelming at times. With the recent opening of our food truck, it has become obvious to me that expanding our hours beyond just weekends should be our priority and is what makes the most business sense. It doesn’t help, however, the weird feeling of nostalgia that’s already settling in. We do plan to have a few more days of service, which we will absolutely announce ahead of time for regulars and guests to come by before we close up shop for good. There’s also a pretty good chance that once we get into the everyday rhythm on the truck, we might sell some bagels/breakfast sandwiches from there. I am also happy to offer orders of 1 dozen or more to anyone interested through the end of our lease when possible. We sold over 55,000 hand made bagels since our opening as well as more than 20,000 handmade pop tarts and we appreciate every single person that gave us a shot. Thank you so much for bringing in your families, dates, or just yourself when you needed a place to go to get out of the house and sit with a bagel for a while. It has been a pleasure serving and getting to know you all and we’ll see you one block down the street at the truck ❤️
