National Farmers Market Week is a chance to celebrate everything that makes a farmers market feel like a farmers market. Today's farmers markets are more than just plein air grocery shopping, they're also gathering places. They're where neighbors catch up, friends meet for dinner, kids dance to live music, and families make an evening of shopping local.

That's why you'll find food trucks here.

Each food truck our market features is a local small business. They're owned by people from our communities who work long hours, take risks, create jobs, and give us another reason to spend time at the market. A great meal keeps people here a little longer, which means more conversations, more connections, and more opportunities to discover the farmers and artisans around them.

This week we're excited to welcome Grilled Cheese Please back to the market, serving the gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, loaded tots, soups, and other comfort food they've become known for throughout the region. And as an added bonus, M.R.CHEESECAKES returns with another round of incredible cheesecake by the slice.

A farmers market should feed a community in more ways than one. Fresh food. Local businesses. Shared experiences. Food trucks have earned their place in that tradition, and we're proud to make them part of the Middletown experience.

It's market day in Myersville, and this Saturday is packed with reasons to stop by! Bridey Tine is making her market debut, bringing her incredible live music to the market for the very first time. (You don't want to miss her cover of "Choosin' Texas"!) M.R.CHEESECAKES will be tempting you with decadent cheesecake slices and coffee and espresso beverages, Orth Gourmet is back with his made-from-scratch soups, and yes... there will be pierogi from Punk N' Peasant!

We're also excited to welcome the Wolfsville Myersville Athletic Association as this week's Community Tent organization. Stop by to learn about their programs promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun for young athletes in our community.

When you think of breakfast at the farmers market, you probably picture farm-fresh eggs, locally raised bacon or sausage, and maybe a homemade biscuit still warm from the oven, but one of our most popular breakfast stops is... M.R.CHEESECAKES

Some folks (myself included) have absolutely no problem enjoying a slice of cheesecake with their morning coffee. Others show admirable restraint and take home boxes full of slices to enjoy later.
