Remodel update!

One of the big projects is now complete, our new kitchen floor! We are so excited to have a brand new floor in there to be able to serve up your favorites all year long! This new floor will not only be nicer to look at and easier to clean, but it is the proper flooring to be able to handle the weight of the large appliances and the high traffic use! Next steps are to let the fresh grout sit until tomorrow, when we can start putting everything back in the kitchen and get it set up and ready to start serving again. We will take tomorrow to get it all set up and see how it goes. If we get everything ready, we can open up tomorrow. Otherwise it will be Wednesday for the kitchen, and we will keep you posted. 😁👍

A reminder that Tuesday bags league throws tomorrow night after our one week holiday/remodel break! We are open tomorrow from 11:00-10:00, bar only (unless the kitchen is ready). We are almost done with the tear out of the old volleyball court in preparation for the astro turf recreation area for bags play. More to come on that in the coming days!

We are very excited to share the progress as we go through this remodeling phase of the summer! Bowling will be back soon, as the flooring installation process begins on Thursday after letting the cement fully cure.

Remodeling update!

Reminder that we are going to remain closed today and Monday as we continue to remodel!

Work continues on the kitchen floor today and tomorrow, aiming to open the kitchen soon. We targeted Tuesday for the re-opening, however we are going to wait until Wednesday in order to allow ample time to put everything back together appropriately. Very excited to have that portion of the project complete!

Construction update!

We have moved from demo to rebuild mode, and that started today with the pouring of new concrete in the seating area! Last night we pulled the old paneling from the walls and finished the demo clean up to prep for today. After a quick project to repair/replace some drywall, we were ready to go! Crews were here bright and early to get our seating area floor leveled out and ready for new flooring and furniture in the coming weeks.

For now, we wait! The new cement needs to cure for the next seven days until we are ready to begin the process of getting the new flooring installed over top of it.

A feature of the old tile floor was that the colored tiles spelled out "Country Lanes", however those are now buried beneath the concrete as we make way for a much more modern and clean look. We were sure to snap a few pictures to share before it was gone!

We are open in the bar today from 11:00-10:00 tonight. We have the $3 drink specials once again, and we are raffling another Misiorowski jersey! Stop in and get some great drink specials, drop your name on a card for the jersey, and check out the progress! Thank you to everyone who has stopped by to see our remodeling! 😁

Demo day #3!

We almost finished demo yesterday, but just got to a point where we knew we could finish up today and be ready for a big day tomorrow, which is the cement pour! Today's to do list includes the removal of the last part of the bricks, paneling removal, getting all big table pieces to the dumpster, and sweeping/cleaning seating area to prep for tomorrow. Thank you to those who came by yesterday to check out the progress! Our new kitchen floor is coming along very nicely as well, thank you to the hard working crew that is getting our kitchen ready to serve your favorites!

Demo day #2!

The work continues today as we are marching ahead with the remodeling plans. Yesterday we were able to get three of the tables/walls by the lanes down and fully removed, and we had some great helpers! Goal for today is to finish the tables/walls, remove all of the old furniture, and to get the prep work started for the moving of the scoring pedastals and cement work.

The kitchen is coming along nicely! We were able to demo the entire floor and do some deep cleaning, while making progress on laying the foundation for the new flooring. Goals for today are to finish the cement board and get the tile work rolling!

Bowling and kitchen are both closed, however the bar is open today! We are open from 11:00-10:00 and we will have some unbeatable construction specials today!

Now the real fun starts. 😁

It's demo day!!

We are starting the process of remodeling and modernizing Country Lanes! First things first, gotta get rid of the old. These brick walls and huge tables are being removed in favor of new bowling furniture and a level seating area that will not only update the space, but open up the floorplan and replace old furniture that was literally falling apart.

We are also taking everything out of the kitchen to deep clean and rip out the flooring to make way for brand new, proper commercial kitchen flooring. A much needed upgrade here as well!

We are closed today (Monday) as usual during the summer. Bowling is officially closed until at least 7/14. The kitchen is closed until at least 7/7. We will have the bar open this week Tuesday through Friday with some great deals, so stay tuned for those updates. We will be giving away some Brewers jerseys this week, so be sure to stop in for a few cold ones as we get to work!

🚨🚨 Bakerz Dozen Tournament Update! 🚨🚨

Here are the tournament standings through the first four squads of our brand new Bakerz Dozen summer tournament!

Remember that you can bowl the tournament as many times as you wish, you just have to switch at least one team member from your previous lineups, as the same trios team cannot bowl more than once.

Thank you to everyone that has competed in the tournament thus far! We are now entering a break for a few weeks of the tournament, as we are going to be completing some much needed remodeling in the center. Our next squad will be on July 24th, so be sure to get your entries in for that date ASAP to lock down your spot and a chance to chase the first ever title in this tournament! Week #7 of the American Place Casino Summer sweeper series was an entertaining night for the 53 bowlers that showed up to take on the challenge of the Kegel Route 66 V2 pattern. We once again welcomed Matt Urban Racing #48 into the booth for a fun night talking about all things racing and his recent successes on the track! Thank you to Justin Sibila for getting us two general admission passes to Plymouth race track to give away! We also gave away replica Matt Urban toy cars to the top four, a custom trophy and the belt to our winner, and the championship bucket from our friends at Holz Motors !

This event also featured the beat the proprietor challenge our proprietor Kevin Meier bowled on the pattern ahead of the event. His score of 671 would have been the cut number going into the top 18 and that meant that the 17 bowlers that finished ahead of him each earned an additional $5 this week. Congratulations!!

The qualifying on the lanes was fast and furious as bowlers needed a score of $670 to make the cut to the top 18 this week. That scoring pace continued through the elimination rounds where we landed on a top four of the following bowlers: Layton Barlow, Dartanion Sellers, Ben Medina, and Mike Donnelly. As was called by $2 Phil & Ten On The Deck Productions in the booth for the finals, we nicknamed this one three two-handers and an old guy! It turns out that youth was served in these finals as the hot summer for Dartanian Sellers continued once again, earning himself another victory in this year's Summer Sweeper series. Congratulations! Layton captured second place, Ben took third, and Mike won fourth place.

Our standings for the main event are currently being led by Dartanian Sellers and his streak of three wins in four events. The remaining field is very close to see who is going to qualify for the stepladder finals on an episode of the Brew City Bowling Show !

From all of us here at Country Lanes, we want to thank all of the bowlers who have attended this tournament series so far this summer as we are seeing record turnout for these events! We hope for that attendance to continue when we pick up the second half of the summer sweeper series on July 15th. We are going to be taking a 2-week break so that we can complete some major remodeling projects in the center which includes our seating area, flooring, outdoor recreational area, gutter capping, etc. These are some much-needed updates that we are excited to complete and show everyone once they are done!
