Thanks Betsie Current for sharing the Patch. 🌱 Click the link for the full story and for recent issues of The Betsie Current.
We try really hard to bring you fresh, creative content in the pages of The Betsie Current, so we try not to publish a story twice on the same individual, event, business, etc.
But ever so often, we do run a comprehensive "story update" that consists of usually several updates at once: a few paragraphs for each, to update our readers on stories that we've published in the past.
Last issue, we updated you on two stories that we've previously run:
• Furnace Street Distillery of Elberta opening The Sidecar Bar out of a converted shipping container at the Menus on Main food truck lot in Frankfort. (Originally featured in a Q&A in July 2022.)
• Beth and Tony Roethler, owners of The Cabbage Shed in Elberta, who recently opened The Patch, an offshoot in Frankfort that will serve quick, healthy to-go salads, wraps, and bowls during lunch hours. (Originally featured in 2006, 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2021.)
Read more about each update—and there are also links to the original stories, if you missed them the first go-around—here: https://bit.ly/3SLfw78 .
