🏐 FRANKFORT PIZZA KING & HOOSIERLAND TV STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 🏐

Congratulations to Rossville’s Cassie Schoon, this week’s Frankfort Pizza King and Hoosierland TV Student-Athlete of the Week!

Cassie is a sophomore on the Rossville volleyball team, which has gotten off to an impressive 17-5 start. She leads the Hornets with 220 digs while making a major impact as the team’s libero.

“Cassie not only does a wonderful job in the classroom maintaining all As and Bs during a busy sports season, but also on the court,” Rossville volleyball coach Lexie Ellenwood said. “She has done an incredible job stepping back into the libero role this season, and it shows not only in her stats but in her leadership on the court.”

Coach Ellenwood also praised Cassie for challenging herself and her teammates in practice, expanding her defensive skills, taking on more responsibility in serve receive, and becoming an even stronger communicator on both sides of the net.

Her hard work, leadership and dedication are making an undeniable impact on the Hornets this season.

Avery Dyer is this week’s Frankfort Pizza King and Hoosierland TV Student-Athlete of the Week.

Dyer is a senior on the Carroll football team, where he plays offensive and defensive line.

“Avery is one of our leaders on and off the football field. He is an extremely hard worker who is going to be successful in whatever he chooses to do later in life,” Carroll football coach Blake Betzner said.

🏈🍕 STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK! 🍕🏈
Frankfort Pizza King and Hoosierland TV are proud to recognize Tanner Matthews as this week’s Student-Athlete of the Week! 👏👏
Tanner is a sophomore on the Clinton Central Bulldogs Football Team and has been a key part of their strong start to the season. But what really stands out is that Tanner brings the same dedication to the classroom that he brings to the football field.
Clinton Central Football Coach Michael Griffy had some BIG praise for Tanner:
“He always shows up ready to work and willing to do whatever it takes to get better.”
And it doesn’t stop on the field! Tanner was a member of NJHS as a freshman and is expected to be inducted into National Honor Society this year. 📚🏈
That’s what being a true student-athlete is all about!
Congratulations, Tanner! We’re proud to recognize you and wish you and the Bulldogs continued success this season! 🐾💪

🏐 Student‑Athlete of the Week: Kyndall Friedrich! 🏐

Frankfort Pizza King is proud to recognize Clinton Prairie's Kyndall Friedrich as this week’s Student‑Athlete of the Week!

A standout sophomore and respected captain for the Clinton Prairie volleyball team, Kyndall is already making waves early in the season. Coach Kathy Martin shared high praise for her leadership and all‑around impact on the court:

“She’s a 6‑rotation player and was also voted as captain this year by her squad, which says a lot about her and her leadership, including how much she has grown. She already amassed 30 kills for the season and 13 aces in less than 5 games. She’s a dynamic player. She was also just named on AVCA’s Phenom List.”

Kyndall’s work ethic, talent, and team‑first attitude make her a true role model for Prairie athletes and our entire community. Congratulations, Kyndall — keep shining, keep leading, and keep dominating the court! 👑🔥

Okay Frankfort… I need to settle an argument. 😂

Is it actually possible to order Pizza King and NOT get breadsticks? 🤔

Because around here, I’m pretty sure ordering pizza without breadsticks should be against the law. 😂🥖

You’ve got the pizza…
You’ve got the cheese…
You’ve got that garlic butter goodness…

And then somebody says, “We don’t need breadsticks.”

🚨 THAT PERSON CANNOT BE TRUSTED. 🚨🤣
