Can you guess which sandwich was the favorite this weekend and how many sandwiches we served? How about our most popular smoothie and specialty drinks?

This weekend, our team of just 10 served 141 sandwiches, 188 cups of coffee, 201 espresso drinks, 71 smoothies, sold out of all our baked goods, 80 pancakes, 83 breakfast sandwiches, 72 omelettes, 85 breakfast plates and 99 breakfast wraps just to name a few!

Did everything go perfectly? Nope. But we gave it our all, and it showed. We love what we do, we love feeding hungry people, and we couldn’t be prouder of our hardworking team. ❤️ And thank you to our customers, we are truly grateful!

Hungry Bear Cafe is looking for a part-time baker to join our team.

One day per week
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Average $20/hour (hourly wage + tips)

Your mission:
-Bake cookies
-Make fresh scones
-Create our famous coffee cakes
-Help fill the cafe with amazing smells and happy customers.

This is a great fit for someone who loves baking and wants a few extra hours each week without a big time commitment.

Hungry Bear Café is looking for a seasonal, dependable, hardworking pancake flipper to join our team!

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in making great food, and want to be part of a fun, supportive workplace, we’d love to meet you.

What we offer:
✔ Average $20 per hour or more
✔ Daytime hours—no late nights! 7:45a-3p, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
✔ Friendly team atmosphere
✔ A busy, established café with loyal customers

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is reliable and ready to work
• Weekend temporary position until end of October
• Has kitchen experience, although we’re willing to train the right person

If you’re tired of working nights and want to be home in the evenings, this could be the perfect fit.
