Due to an extended dispute between Black Lung Brewing and the building owner at Fox Lake, Black Lung Brewing has made the decision to close their Fox Lake location. As we are contracted to provide food service to the taproom, it also effectively closes Winston’s.
We struggled through the winter in hopes of a lucrative summer and met many wonderful customers during our stay in Fox Lake.
We would like to thank the amazing residents of Fox Lake, the customers and staff of Black Lung Brewing and the many friends we made for the warm and very welcoming reception we received.
We truly enjoyed serving each and every one and will sincerely miss spending time with you.
We hope that you enjoyed our brief tenure in Fox Lake and more importantly enjoyed the food that we love cooking.

Great news! Winston’s and Black Lung Brews & Bites will reopen tonight and will be open on Memorial Day. The gas supply issues have been resolved and we will be back in business starting at 5:30pm today. Please come on by and try our burger of the month, the Brazilian Burger or enjoy our pub inspired foods.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Winston’s @ Black Lung Brewing in Fox Lake will be closed until further notice. We are incredibly saddened by this as we have come to love our customers and the staff of Black Lung Brews & Bites. It is important to note that Black Lung Brewing has and continues to do everything in their power to resolve this issue, however they are fighting a landlord who seems to have little integrity or concern.
With luck all will be sorted and we can all enjoy this amazing location with a great beer and a good bit of pub nosh soon.
Until then, thank you Fox Lake for the great reception we received over the winter months.

Update: We are CLOSED today, Saturday, April 25th.

Hey everyone, we have some tough news to share. Due to continued flooding, Winston’s Pub Grub and More (inside Black Lung Brewing - Fox Lake) will remain closed today, Saturday, April 25th.
The safety of our staff and guests is our top priority, and we’re working hard to get things back in order so we can serve you again soon.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and support during this "unexpectedly aquatic" weekend! Please stay tuned to our page for further updates regarding our hours for tomorrow.

Stay dry, everyone! 🌊
Due to the ongoing flooding in the area, Winston's Pub Grub and More (located inside Black Lung Brewing - Fox Lake) will remain closed for tonight, Friday April 24.
The safety of our staff and guests is our top priority. We are keeping a close eye on the water levels and will share an update as soon as we are cleared to fire up the kitchen again! 🍔🚫
In the meantime:
• Check back here for the latest reopening news.
• Support our neighbors who are also dealing with the high waters.
• Stay safe and off the roads if you can!

We have been running the kitchen at in Fox Lake on Nippersink Boulevard since October of last year and in that time we have met so many wonderful new people who have welcomed Winston's with enthusiasm. Thank You. We always appreciate our customers.
This post however is to thank the crew who run Black Lung Brewing. You have all been wonderful, welcoming, warm and enthusiastic about our food and our tenure at Black Lung. Josh, Brie, Carmen, Joannie, Sara, Alex and gone but not forgotten - Gary and anyone I may have missed - thank you all and we are looking forward to a great summer together.
