Wow....Where do we even begin? Thank you to all of our customers who have continued to dine with us and patronize our business. We have gone through many changes over the 15 years of our little diner. We have had staffing changes, menu changes and heck even tried the crazy idea of "leasing out" the building. Worst mistake ever....However, somehow through it all, Audrey has been able to maintain the consistency that no other hired cook could. Her green chili is arguably the best in the valley, her burgers and fries, award-winning, and her Sunday dinners untouchable.
This year has been arguably the hardest year of all of them. We made the best out of the situation the best that we could, but I think we can all agree that the restaurant industry, as well as small businesses in general, have been impacted severely by the Corona Virus. The restaurant industry as a whole has taken probably the worst hit due to the state-mandated restrictions and lockdowns due to the pandemic with many businesses never being able to recover financially. Thankfully, Audrey was recently blessed by her mom and dad's estate and will be able to finally retire from the restaurant industry.
From the bottom of our hearts, we truly thank you for the loyalty and friendships that we have built over the last 15 years. We now can actually start to enjoy our grandkids and retirement, without it being at the restaurant, and being able to travel, and overall just relax! We will do some repairs and add some paint and will be putting the building on the market soon. With any luck, someone that has the drive and determination that Audrey had, will be able to take it and grow even more.
Thanks to a great 15 years!
