🍜The Royal Noodle Soup of Huế: Our Signature Bún Bò Huế

Bún Bò Huế traces its roots back to the ancient imperial city of Huế in central Vietnam. Born during the time of the Nguyễn lords in the late 16th to early 17th century, this iconic spicy noodle soup reflects the rich culinary heritage of the former royal capital. What started as a dish influenced by royal kitchens and local traditions has become a beloved symbol of Huế’s vibrant flavors — bold, aromatic, and deeply satisfying.

Hey there, foodies! We’re so grateful that Hue Oi has become a favorite spot for so many of you in Fountain Valley, Redondo Beach, and Torrance. Today, we wanted to share a little about one of our most beloved dishes that customers keep coming back for at all three locations: Bún Bò Huế!

Longer version of my visit! 🚀 Stopped by the "Samurai of the Diamond" mural project in Torrance over a week ago—watching legendary artist in full beast mode paint this epic tribute to Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Roki Sasaki on the hotel wall! 🌟⚾🎨

It was such an honor to meet him in person, chat about his vision for this cultural bridge between LA and Japan... and even better—he came by and enjoyed some Phở at our family restaurant, Pho Hue Oi Torrance 🍜❤️

We truly appreciate him choosing Torrance for this meaningful, larger-than-life piece—(it's almost near completion) landmark celebrating our community's Japanese heritage and Dodgers pride!

Tomorrow (March 24th) is the official unveiling ceremony at 10am at the DoubleTree by Hilton Torrance! Come join for the grand reveal—free parking/admission, complimentary cookies for the first 200, water station, appetizer cards, and signed posters (while supplies last). Don't miss this! 🙌
