Before Almacén El Gallo, this corner already had a soul.
A neighborhood store once lived here — worn shelves, familiar faces, the kind of place Fort Worth doesn’t forget easily. When we found it, we made a choice: don’t erase it. Honor it.
We kept the wood. We renewed the shelves. And we gave it a name that meant something.
El Gallo — the rooster — is one of the most iconic symbols in Mexican culture. He’s on the walls of abuelas’ kitchens, in the markets, in the folklore. He announces the morning. He stands proud. He belongs to everyone and to no one.
For us, he represents exactly what this place is: warm, authentic, deeply rooted, and always welcoming you in.
Almacén El Gallo wasn’t invented. It was remembered.
