Yes, it’s a real holiday — and around here, we take it VERY seriously. 😋

In honor of our favorite day of the year, here are a few fun frozen custard facts:

🍦 Frozen custard is made with egg yolks, which gives it that extra-rich, creamy texture.

❄️ It’s served at a slightly warmer temperature than traditional ice cream, making it softer, smoother and oh-so-creamy.

🥄 Frozen custard is churned with less air than most ice cream — which means every bite is denser, richer and packed with flavor.

🇺🇸 Frozen custard became a summertime favorite in the U.S. more than 100 years ago!

💙 And our favorite fact of all?
Frozen custard is ALWAYS better when you’re sharing it with someone you love. (Although we fully support not sharing. 😉)
