This is Fort Worth's legendary family table. We welcome you to our home. We are the grandchildren of Joe T. and Mamasuez, Lanny, Zurella, Joe, Jesse, Phillip and Elizabeth and this is our home. We grew up in the kitchen. We worked at the tables beside our mother and grandmother, we cooked beans, rolled silverware, and bussed tables. They instilled in us a love of food and a passion for hard work,

and we grew up surrounded by the warmth and laughter of friends and family. Over the years, we have watched Joe T's evolve and grow. But no matter how it changes, Joe T's will always be a part of our family story. Today we celebrate our matriarch, Hope. 💖

Her birthday is still a day we honor, even though she left us many years ago.Because women like Hope don’t simply leave. They remain in the stories we tell. In the traditions we keep. In the way we gather around a table. In the strength of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In a family legacy that continues to grow because of what she helped build.

So much of who we are carries a little piece of who she was. Today we celebrate her life, her love and the beautiful legacy still unfolding through all of us.
