From all of us here at Samwon

After nearly two decades of slinging kimchi and culture, we are now closed.

We thank each and every person who has walked through those doors and supported us through the good times and bad, for your un-ending love and passion. To many, we were either a first dive into korean cooking or that one meal bringing back memories of home; we hope you enjoyed your time with us just as much as enjoyed being your place.

Who knows if the closure will be forever or just a month; retirement is a funny thing. But for right now, Momma Chung and staff are taking a well deserved break.

So to quote a beloved film and cap off our countdown,

In case [we] don't see you, good morning, good evening, and goodnight.

For our last day, if you dont feel like dining in, we'll be selling some of the BBQ cuts (bulgogi, spicy pork, very limited samgyupsal) uncooked for you to take home. Bring a cooler/ cooler bag if you have a drive, and take some final samwon goodness home with you today!

We will be here for a couple more hours slinging the take-home meats, but we are out of main menu meals!!

Dear Samwon fans,

Due to some delayed orders that we didn't think would make it, we have enough goods and are furiously prepping for one final, final day with y'all tomorrow, TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 30.

We will keep a live post going like we did Saturday with what we're out of. Doors open at 11, no reservations, *please note that wait times might be long*. The menu will be limited, and once it's gone, it's gone~~

We look forward to seeing your faces, especially if you didn't get a chance to make it in this past week during our closing chaos!!
