Move over superheroes—our EMS ISD Child Nutrition crew is the real deal! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️✨

Rain or shine…if school’s in session, our heroes are clocked in and ready to serve! 🥪🍎💛

Our team has served over 132 thousand gallons of milk, 309 thousand pounds of fruits and vegetables, and 2.9 million meals! That’s a whole lot of teamwork, hustle, and heart. 🥛🥕🍽️👏

Thank you to our amazing child nutrition staff for showing up with big hearts every day. You serve up more than just meals—you serve up smiles and fuel our school community every day! 💛

🌟🥕 Texas Fruit & Vegetable Day 🥬🍎

Today we’re celebrating the fresh flavors of Texas! Our middle school students enjoyed a delicious meal featuring locally grown Texas cabbage served as fresh coleslaw. A crunchy, nutritious way to highlight what our local farmers provide.

From crisp apple slices to garden-fresh veggies, we love bringing fresh options to our cafeterias.

Supporting local agriculture means fresher food, stronger communities, and healthier students! 🌱
