He used to come in to the diner all the time, they even ended up with a little bit of our wall decor. Val Kilmer has unfortunately passed away. One of my favorite actors, especially his part in Tombstone as Doc Holliday.

New York Times listed the cause as pneumonia. An unbelievable actor and fighter that helped mold 80s and 90s cinema. RIP

Hey kids- So I thought since I have a small portion of the local community's ear... I should say something about this..

Disposal and recycling of old electronics. I know we've all got old junk laying around and sometimes not sure what to do with it. I know sometimes we see some of this old and outdated stuff as just trash...

Where I'm working now, there is a computer recycling business behind us and we share a dumpster with them. While this IS a good route to go for some things.. I've been seeing a crazy amount of old video game stuff out there lately. Maybe you THOUGHT most of that was getting recycled? There was an old Nintendo gutted in the dumpster. One of the saddest things I've ever seen. Small mountains of keyboard, mice, video game controllers... all of them just have their cords cut and dumped in the trash. That is.. their wiring is going to be recycled but the bulk is going to the dump.

I see a fair amount of old CRT televisions and monitors.. old 80s/90s computers.

PLEASE - consider donating stuff like this to a thrift store! Heck - list it for sale online locally and make a few bucks. There are plenty of nerds out there, myself included, that would pay for things like this. There's a couple local Retro Electronic stores that buy these types of things as well. If you're just sick of it being around and don't want to deal with it, price to sell and make some nerd's day! My parents run a vintage store! vintage treasures

Believe it or not there is an ever growing interest in vintage electronics.
