Life moves fast. Just a few weeks ago we were planning another smoker, working toward a brick-and-mortar, and adding Fridays to our service days… and now we’re closing.

An opportunity came up that we couldn’t pass on, and while this chapter is ending, we’re incredibly grateful for the journey. Thank you to everyone who supported us over the past two years—especially our regulars. It’s been an honor sharing our Pakistani-influenced Texas BBQ with Fort Worth.

This Saturday (12/20/25) will be our last day. We hope y’all loved Sabar as much as we loved cooking for you.

Endless thanks to Peter, Usama, Omar, and Salman for the heart and love they poured into Sabar.

Hwayej Lamb chops are gonna be on the menu moving forward. Hwayej is Yemeni spice rub that includes cumin, coriander, black peppercorns cinnamon, cloves that pairs amazing with lamb. This is homage to one of the oldest civilizations in the world. We hope y’all enjoy them as much as we have making them and eating them ;-p.
