Following nearly 30 years on the local music scene, Primetime will call it a night when they play their final show at Club Room at The Clyde on Tuesday, July 14.

With Karin Martin on vocals, Brett Kelsey on trumpet, trombone, keyboards, and Chuck Surack on saxophone, flute, and keyboards, PrimeTime have been drawing a crowd of dancers each time they perform.

“The idea wasn’t to build a business or become famous — it was simply three friends who enjoyed playing together and wanted to create a band that people would enjoy listening and dancing to,” Surack said. “We were fortunate that chemistry developed almost immediately, both musically and personally.”
