Hey, Hey, you will be able to find your favorite vegan and gluten-free Pembroke treats on your Up North adventures at our booth at the Manistee Farmers Market, beginning June 3rd. Our new name for our up-north stand is Tiny Kitchen Bakery.

As always, our products will be dairy-free, egg-free, and peanut-free, and some will be available for the gluten-sensitive as well. :)

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our furry buddy/Pembroke mascot, Rocco. He had been being treated for months for Epilepsy, but wasn’t getting better. After a trip to a neurologist it was found that our guy had been suffering through an inoperable brain tumor. We were able to get him a week of some comfort with steroids, but couldn’t stand to see him in this much pain. We got him when Jacob passed away in 2020 and helped us get through that and COVID and just made life better. He was only just under 5 years old and will be missed by anyone who met him.

M***e to all of our dancing friends as you start your awesome run of The Nutcracker! Sadly I won’t be able to get to work backstage with you due to some communication problems there. I looked forward to seeing all of you in action, but I guess I wasn’t needed ☹️ The only good thing about that is that I will get to see our friend, as the Sugar Plum Fairy in .ballet ‘s Nutcracker . They will be doing 2 shows Saturday and Sunday. is sold out this weekend but will have 4 shows next weekend at the performing arts center. Make sure you get out to see one these groups of awesome dancers at one or more of their shows 😊👏😎 Sorry again that I won’t get a chance to work with you before we are done moving. For those of you wondering about the bakery, I will have an update next week

Just a couple quick updates. After having the privilege of seeing our friends from the doing Dracula. If you get the chance, they have one more show tonight. You should be there!😎 Second, our potential buyer is still working on finding a viable new space. As things unfold, we will let everyone know..

The vegan-vegetarian friendly eatery will close its doors Wednesday, after almost 11 years of business.

Just a quick update. I need to apologize to all of you for not doing a better job lately of letting you know what’s going on. This will be our last weekend after just shy of 11 years. I am sorry that I have been too busy to get you more information, but at the same time, appreciate the fact that you are keeping us too busy to be on here. Our last day will be Wednesday August 31st. We hope to see a lot of you this weekend since the will be going on down here. Stop in and get some delicious Mac N Cheez as well as all of your other favorites. I will give you some more information and Love to everyone after I get everything stocked up and get a few hours sleep before our last crazy weekend 🤪😎 We look forward to seeing you and would appreciate some love for our neighbors/friends down here!!

Come in and get one of the two Mac Specials as we start our 4th to last weekend. Choose between Smokey Jalapeño or Buffalo Mac N Cheez. Large or small and also available as a Colossal Dawg with a Litelife Vega Dawg. We also have our vegan Caesar or Macaroni salads. For breads this week we have garlic/rosemary/basil or garlic poppy seed. Vegan muffins are Blueberry/lemon/poppyseed or GF Blueberry. Soups are Coconut Chickpea & Yellow Split Pea Dal or Chickpea Dal. Finally Rocco and Angie said to say hi!! We are looking forward to our last couple weeks with everyone including our neighbors

How about some Of Chef Rubens Vegan Buffalo Mac or Penne Pasta with Vegan Meatballs? We also have our house made Vegan Caesar Salad. Add a loaf of Garlic Jalapeño or Garlic Herb bread or Apple/cherry/raisins muffins to make it a party 🎉. Rocco wanted me to post a picture of his new chew toy he picked out with funds from one of his social media friends😎👍I almost forgot the Chickpea Minestrone or Mexican Pinto Bean Soup PS: for those of you that were looking for vegan iced sugar cookies, we have about 4 dozen of the thinner crunchier variety, while they last ( as well as 5 other kinds of cookies)
