Another small update as to why I've been a bit silent on here as its certainly not been a small time commitment 😆 As much schooling as I've done in the holistic realm, I've been so enjoying diving into the allopathic side of medicine and truly feel having an understanding of both sides provides such a deep level of understanding of the human body. My reasonings in wanting to be an EMT were deep and far from anything to do with herbalism, but as it turns out, its provided such an amazing opportunity for growth in my practice as an herbalist. We are about halfway through with EMT school and are starting clinicals in the next week or so. What a wild ride it's been.

Emergency responders in most of the UP are volunteers. On top of their normal jobs and daily life they're ready to run out the door. They deal with super isolated incidents, extreme weather and see things most shouldn't. I feel so incredibly privileged to have gotten to know some of these amazing folks we have in this area serving our community.
