💜 UBE CHEESECAKE 💜

We’ve been making cheesecakes for nearly 20 years, and somehow it just dawned on us… Purple Mountain has never had a purple cheesecake. 😂

Well, that needed fixed.

Introducing our Ube Cheesecake!

Ube is a purple yam from the Philippines with a naturally beautiful purple color and a mild, sweet, almost vanilla-like flavor with slightly nutty notes. It makes for an incredibly smooth, creamy cheesecake that’s a little different from anything we’ve made before.

We learned something with our first batch, too! We originally described ube as a Japanese sweet potato, but a few of you were quick to help us out. Ube is actually a Filipino purple yam — so thank you for setting us straight! 💜

Finished with our own homemade whipped cream.
