Before Azzy told us his name, we called him "cupcake". Super fitting considering the cupcake tattoo I got new year's day 2025 🧁Little did I know, that a year and eleven days into the future, I'd be holding my little cupcake- Azzy!

I couldn't wait until Sunday to post this...
This year I'm celebrating Mother's Day with my sweet baby boy - Azzmund or Azzy as we lovingly call him! My plan was to go back to school and the universe said not yet 😉 On 1.11 this sweet soul came earth side and my life has never been the same. I'm absolutely in love with our Azzy boy 😍 I'm so glad he chose me to be his mama 🥰💕

Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas, aunties, grandmas, sisters, friends- all the wonderful humans who step into motherhood one way or another 💕 We are grateful for our village of aunties, his godmother & his god grandmother !

Being a mother has made me a better person. I would move heaven and earth for this sweet boy. Being a cycle breaker is hard but worth it to see him raised in a home full of love, safety and freedom. May he never have to spend a lifetime healing from his childhood. Instead he gets to flourish and blossom into his truest form 💐

Yesterday was WILD!
Meet the newest member of our family- Yari 🩶


Long story short, we rescued this baby from a Kroger parking lot where they were hiding in my friend's engine! Then they ran up a tree and got stuck 🙃 Animal Care and Control was closed for the holiday and we were told by an operator on the non-emergency line that the fire department doesn't come out for kitties in trees?!?! They told us to leave them there and if they were still there in the morning they would send someone out.

There was NO way we were leaving this baby stuck in a tree overnight alone. They were clearly scared and distressed. And we were scared they would fall from exhaustion as they were already shaking and screaming in fear.

All in all, it took 7 hours between the engine bay and tree but Jesse and I were able to get this little baby down!

They are around 3 months old from what I can tell and already know how to use a litter box. So I do think they were abandoned by someone in that parking lot 😭😭😭 They are the perfect fit for our family. Hex and Ginger are eagerly awaiting to be fully introduced; even guarding the bedroom door where we have Yari secluded while they adjust to their new home.

This poor baby was so hungry and starved for love 🥺 I'm glad they found their way to us.

We will be taking Yari to Humane Fort Wayne for an exam and vaccines. Eventually, we will schedule for them to be spayed/neutered. If you want to contribute to their care you can donate directly to my cash app $rachellomasi 🥰

I'll keep you all updated on how they are adjusting but so far Yari LOVES cuddles and wet food!

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated our birthdays with a mini vacation. Can you believe our birthdays are eonly 3 days apart? Big Leo energy ♌️ 🦁 ✨️

We are all moved into our new home! Still unpacking and making it ours; slowly but surely 💕 While I've parted ways with most of my excess kitchen equipment, I do have a few odds and ends left. If you're interested, please send me a DM!

Thank you 💕
Those two words don't seem like enough. They don't even begin to capture the immense gratitude I feel for being able to walk this journey the last 5+ years. I've grown as a person in ways I never imagined possible. I've been challenged, strengthened and fortified. While this is the end of Sassy Vegan, the skills and lessons I've learned will carry on in my life forever.

I always thought I'd be heartbroken if this ever came to an end. Rather, it's the opposite. I'm overjoyed to have a rest and period of reflection before starting my next business venture. I don't know exactly when that will be but I'll keep these profiles active for those of you want to be a part of it. Be looking for a name change in the future 🥰

I've decided to shut down a month early because we are moving! It's my dream home and I'm thrilled to make it ours. Thank you for making this move possible with your support! I'll be posting items for sale at discount prices and several free items too! So stay tuned.
