Local musicians, Chris and Darlene Lehman, started Axe to Grind Cafe to combine two of their passions: coffee and music. Axe to Grind is a musical themed mobile coffee shop based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We specialize in espresso drinks and feature coffee beans from local roaster, Old Crown. Our menu is adapted to fit each venue. We have featured waffle bites, scones, cupcakes, and bagels at past events.

So, we've got a good news, bad news situation. I'll start with the bad. We WILL NOT be at the YLNI Farmers Market | Fort Wayne, IN tomorrow morning. Axl, our bus, needed some repairs and is not ready yet.

Good news is that it would be a great time to check out our new location!

You can come in today. We're open until 2 and then we reopen at 6 for live music. Check out our events page for more info!

Saturday, we'll be open 7 am to 3 pm!

Doesn't a fall treat sound good? This is a maple spice cold brew with cold foam, cinnamon sprinkles on top, and a pumpkin muffin with maple glaze. Yum!

Attention A2G fans!

We will be closed on Labor Day, Monday, September 7th. It will be the first time we've had two days off since we opened almost 9 months ago! Can't believe we've had our shop open for that long.

If you've never tried cold brew, with cold foam, we would greatly recommend it! We can make cold foam with any of our 31 syrups!

Whelp! The barrel people found us. You can still come to our shop, but it will test your resolve. I believe in you!

If you are coming from Lake, go around the closed ahead signs and turn into where the storage places are. If coming from the New Haven side, turn in across from the Bargain Lane entrance.

We'll be open at the shop, 7 to noon and we'll be at the market until 1.

Don't forget we are closing the shop at noon tomorrow! Our family band is playing Taste of the Arts Fort Wayne at 3 pm....
