Tomorrow's October, and you know what that means 🍂 Before long those chilly Indiana days roll in, and if you're anything like us, there's nothing better than bundling up with a warm bowl of classic, cozy chili. So when the cold hits, swing by for our legendary sliders, a hot bowl of chili, or both 🌶️

When Alex, Panos, and Stephanie took the reins here at Powers, they knew they were becoming caretakers of a Fort Wayne legend. Jeweliana Stewart’s 5-star review is a huge win for the whole team, confirming that the hard work put into the renovations and menu upgrades has only enhanced the classic slider experience. We are incredibly proud to be part of this city's history and to continue serving the same quality George Motz raved about. What is your absolute favorite thing about the new look of the shop? Visit us on Harrison Street to grab a seat at the counter and experience the upgrades in person.

We love Fort Wayne and one BIG ol' bite is all it takes to remember why this community has been coming here since 1940. We have seen countless sliders cross this counter and just as many smiles follow. From the vintage plates to the classic red tables, walking into Powers is like stepping back into a simpler time when a good meal and good company were all you needed. We are honored to be a part of your family stories for over eight decades. Come and grab a plate of sliders today and share more memories with us!

There are not many places left where you can get a true taste of 1940, but we are proud to be one of them. From the mural on the wall to the sizzle on the flat top, every inch of this place is dedicated to the craft of the classic hamburger. Gaines says we are worth the visit, but we want to hear from you. Fill in the blank: My trip to Powers is not complete without a side of ________. Check out our full list of classic sides on our website before your next visit.
