Happy New Year!! I wish I could see you when the New Year rings in.( like 3 hours away. :) : Unfortunately, 9 is my bedtime and 10:30 is when I would love to be asleep......you know how it is when you wake up at 6:30!! Happy New Year to everyone who goes to sleep before and congrats to those who can make it to after!!

Loving the weather! SO into raking the yard!! :( I usually save this lovely chore for Halloween.......can watch all the costumes, hand out candy and rake leaves! Two out of three are fun and amusing!!

Pranzo is closed....many employees (now out of work).....had been with them for YEARS!! I was driving by Panda's and I believe it may be closed, also. Good Work D.B.P.R. and a special thanks to the media, also!!
This is making me very sad.....I LOVE Ryan and Sam....and will miss Pranzo....awesome food and such a nice bunch of employees....Had many "girls nights" with my friend, Jackie, there over the years....birthday dinners with friends. Something has to be done about this.....

This week, I am working Wednesday through Saturday, off Sunday, work Monday and off next Tuesday!! Come see me or I will track you down and make you eat fast food!!!! Not good fast food, either!! (is there good, fast food??) Okay, guilty of eating a Taco Supreme from Taco Bell .......I can't help it!! Please don't have an "intervention" for me~ :) You want AMAZING Mexican?? Go to Mi Giente on Beal Parkway ....right past the Mobil L**e Express........it is a market, they have their own meat/cheese department, they bake their own breads and corn tortillas, a produce area.....and, after 4, (closed Wednesday for this) You go into the market, order food, buy a drink, take your ticket out the door, go into the area next door......to your right....give the guy the ticket and make sure you tip him a couple of bucks...........There is a refrigerated relish bar with salsa's they make, cilantro, onions, limes.......to hook it up.......I personally suggest the California Carne Asada Burrito with extra avocado..........amazing!!! they give you grilled onions and jalapeno on the side.......They also sell pork or chicken tamales inside all day (if you are in a hurry) Check this place out!!! The sandwich is made with home made bread!!! I L O V E this place!! and, I am a serious foody!!

How amazing it this??~!!! You are coming to see me at Dewey Destin's Harborside!!! One call table yesterday and TWO today!! Thank you SO MUCH for coming to see me.....I love you guys and MISS the heck out of you!!! I know it is a pain in the tail to drive over those bridges; but, it is not too far into Destin......so, put on your Adult Diapers and get over here~!!! (Note: I am not working on Wednesday, July 9th......)........but, I will be there Thursday, Friday, Saturday (day) off Sunday (Whhaaat??) (Yay)......work Monday and Tuesday days!!! Look forward to seeing you!! :) :) :)

Well, they are back in Okaloosa County!! The poor, misguided people at the Daily News did not do their homework (once again!)....They were right about one thing: They did not shut down restaurants in Okaloosa County........because they moved their tents to Pensacola.......where they shut down several restaurants. Now, they are BACK!!
Rumor has it they spent several hours at Harbor Docks today trying to shut them down..... Kudos to Jackie and Charles for dodging that bullet!!! Their agenda is to ruin businesses or what?? I still think they are after the funds from the "fines".......but, (in the most
ignorant, unthinking move EVER)........they are biting the State of Florida in the Ass!! With the bad publicity received when they do not give "time to comply" or even DO.......the reports can be viewed online.........the sales of the restaurant suffer (less sales tax for Florida) the employees are affected......less people attend, so less money is made by the wait staff, the kitchen crew is sent home early... These are people who depend on their jobs to pay their bills and take care of their families!!
I understand the need for inspections...........they are taking this to a whole new level!! they are killing business, scaring customers and in the meantime, costing the State of Florida tax revenue......What the HELL are they doing??? The Daily News and Channel 3 (both of whom killed my business with their idiocy and lack of "investigative reporting"........need to actually do their homework and do a serious piece on this!!!
