🌴❤️ A Heartfelt Thank You From Island Burger & Shake ❤️🌴
To our incredible Island Burger & Shake family — our customers, our employees, our neighbors, and our community — thank you for two unforgettable years.
As many of you know, I’ve been through my second major health scare in six years. The treatment this past fall knocked me down hard, and it forced me to take a real look at my life, my stress, and what I need to prioritize for my long‑term health and well‑being.
After a lot of thought, I made the difficult but necessary decision to reduce my workload and focus on just two restaurants. With that, and I’m grateful to say I found a wonderful local operator with a great concept who will be bringing a brand‑new Irish restaurant to this space.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to every single customer who supported Island Burger & Shake, and to every employee who poured their heart into making this place special. You helped create something truly meaningful here.
And don’t worry — we are not going far. I’ll continue giving my all to Island Pig & Fish and Hutchinson Island Bar & Grille, and I’m excited for what’s ahead at both locations.
To the new owners: I wish you nothing but success. I hope the community embraces your vision the same way they embraced ours.
