IVY Health came to town. They had an event on the beach with their HR department. They decided as a team building experience they would put bikes together. So they went out and bought 40 bikes and put them together the other day. That gives us a head start on Christmas for sure. Thank you IVY health. We help so many families and this year has been tough. Amy told me we put over 60k of our own money this summer in helping families. Obviously that can't continue. Eating at our restaurant helps us help others. Currently we are doing our sweatshirt, socks, blanket and underwear drive any help is appreciated.

What happens when team building turns into something so much bigger? 🚲❤️

The incredible team at Ivy Rehab came together to build bikes as part of a team-building exercise — and then chose to donate those bikes to FK Love Foundation and FK Your Diet so we can get them into the hands of foster kids in our community.

We are beyond grateful to Ivy Rehab for recognizing our mission, supporting what we do, and turning a day of teamwork into something that will put smiles on kids’ faces.

This is what community is all about. It truly takes a village. ❤️

Energy is expensive. When gas goes up all the other forms of energy go up. So heating houses will be much more expensive this year. So please help us help foster kids and families that are struggling by getting involved in our sweatshirt, blanket, socks and underwear drive.

Obviously Amy and I are ready for the cold weather. Who does cold clothes better, Doug or Amy?

This is why we do our sweatshirt, socks, blanket and underwear drive. I grew up being cold, using all kinds of different things as a blanket. Wearing multiple different shirts to try and stay warm. How you can help, is eat at the restaurant. We also have some links if you want to help that way. Help us help some foster kids, Foster families, homeless people and others struggling in our community. This is our 9th year of doing this and we can't do it without your help. Love you all.
