Back on the home front, we would like to thank Next Level Youth group for coming out for the day to help do some spring cleaning of the dining hall. We appreciate all that they did, and we appreciate the church's continual support. Thank you!

We want to thank Mount of Blessings for allowing the Fort Myers Resue Mission to come and set up a booth over the weekend. We greatly appreciated your hospitality and love offering you gave to help with travel expenses, so we can continue to get the word out about the mission.

A couple week ago Mark of Healthy MD spent the day at the mission to provide on-site health services, screening and testing for the men. Their team showed compassion and genuine care for every resident they served. We are incredibly grateful for partners like Healthy MD who are essential in helping us further our mission and support our men as they strive for healthier, more stable lives.

This week we are highlighting a very special lady. Her name is Christina and she has been helping out at the mission for about 7 years. She is a retired teacher, from the jail system, who has helped several residents get started in college, get their GED's and helped them get their birth certificates/ SS cards over these past few years. (You would be amazed at how many lose their identity when they become homeless.) She also plays the piano and we would struggle without her. This year she has switched gears and is now focusing on helping us look into some grants to help us financially weather the rising costs of operations, as many of you can relate to. We appreciate her willingness to giving of her time, talents and resources to help the mission go forward. Thank you Christina and may God bless you for your love of the mission.😊
