Jack gave a heart stirring message Wednesday night. We had a young man under conviction go to the altar. After the service he asked if he could have a Bible. What a blessing to not only pray with this young man but to provide him a Bible. God is so good!

My dear friend, Rev. Joe Smith has been a vital part of the Mission for many years.
We are requesting prayer for him as he has been diagnosed with ALS. Please pray the Lord will restore his health and give him many more years of service for the Kingdom.

The men at the mission have been blessed with 5 large HEPA filters. With flu season coming up and dorms full of men and germs these filters will help keep our men healthier and the air cleaner. We thank the donors for blessing the Fort Myers Rescue Mission with this greatly needed gift.

Thank you to those individuals, who have recently donated both the Yoder smoker and the Camp Chef. They have been put to great use over Labor day weekend. A special thank you to Camp Chef, helping us get the Camp Chef smoker up and running again. We had a great customer service experience.
We are so blessed to receive such a blessing and the great cooks we have here at the mission to use them.

Meet Reverend Andy Whitaker Smith, Senior Pastor at Cypress Lake United Methodist Church- a church that has been a longtime friend and partner of the Fort Myers Rescue Mission!

Reverend Andy joined us today for lunch service and jumped right in, dishing out cheeseburgers and fried potatoes like a pro! 🍔🥔

For many years, Cypress Lake United Methodist Church has faithfully partnered with the Mission through time, talent, treasured prayers, and financial support. Whether they are sending large youth teams to clean and brighten our grounds, providing a faithful Saturday lunch crew to prepare delicious meals for the men, or sharing generous financial gifts to support our food service ministry, they continue to show us what it means to minister to others.
Reverend Andy told us that he loves the people of Cypress Lake Methodist as they are "fun-loving people who love serving the Lord".
