Thank you Macaroni KID Fort Myers - Fort Myers Beach and Mom Era Social for having us this past weekend! We had a blast serving our SWFL Community.

Even though Mr. Lemonade will be out for a while, our team is rolling out during the weekend to continue serving. Weekday events will be paused for now.

🍋 A Message from the Maddie’s Sweet Lemonade 🍋

Many of you know Calvin as “Mr. Lemonade.” Whether he’s serving your favorite drink, grilling hot dogs, making you laugh, or greeting you with a smile, he’s been the heart behind our trailer since day one.

What many of you may not know is that for the past several years, Calvin has been courageously battling Stage 5 kidney failure while continuing to show up for our family, our business, and our community.

Last night, we received the call we have been praying for. This morning, Calvin received his kidney transplant.

We are beyond grateful to share that the surgery went well. He is awake, doing well, and recovering.

Our family is overwhelmed by the love we’ve received. Thank you to everyone who has prayed, checked in, sent messages, and supported us throughout this journey. Your kindness has carried us through some of our hardest days, and we are eternally grateful.

We also want to honor the incredible donor and their family. This precious gift of life came through an unimaginable act of generosity during one of the hardest moments a family can face. We are praying for them and will never take this gift for granted.

As Calvin begins his recovery, we ask for your continued prayers—for healing, strength, and that his body continues to accept this incredible gift.

If you reach out and don’t hear back right away, please know that Mr. Lemonade is focusing on resting and recovering. We will do our best to keep everyone updated as he heals.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting not only our small business, but our family. We cannot wait for the day Mr. Lemonade is back behind the trailer, serving smiles and squeezing fresh lemonade for all of you.

July Recap!

Even though this month was slower- thank you SWFL Rain- we are grateful for all the downtime we received.

A huge thank you to Cape Lemonade and our vendor friends who helped cover for us at events. We are so appreciative of you all.

To our team who flew to Nebraska to cover a baby shower catering- you guys killed it out there.

And to our SWL community- thank you for always showing up and showing your support.

July- you were just what we needed. August we’re ready for you!

Sometimes the smallest moments end up meaning the most. 💛🍋

Two boys came up to our trailer. One was able to order, but the other quietly stepped back because he didn’t have enough money.

Without thinking twice, Calvin handed them both a lemonade.

Will giving away a drink every now and then hurt our business? Not even close.

Because at the end of the day, we’d rather lose a few dollars than let someone walk away feeling left out.

Kindness has a way of coming back around, and those are the moments that remind us why we started Maddie’s Sweet Lemonade in the first place—not just to serve drinks, but to squeeze a little more joy into someone’s day.

If you’re a small business owner, remember this: not every transaction has to be about profit. Sometimes the best investment you can make is in people. 💛🍋
