Owner and Chef Vassilios Tsaganis started his career working on varies cruise ships as executive chef, then decided to come to the united states. He started his adventure in New Jersey worked in many fine dining restaurants and then decided to move to a warmer climate to Florida helping his very dear friend open a lot of restaurants on the east coast of Florida until he finnaly opened his own in

Marathon in the Florida Keys called the Quay, he owned that for several years sold it and opened the Quay restaurant on Duval street in Key West for over a decade .Vassilios has recieved many awards for his outstanding and creative dishes. His passion for cooking didnt stop there him and his wife Deborah decided to give the west coast of florida a try so decided to move to Fort Myers in 2002 and thats when they decided to open Pastabilities and more a little smaller and yet quaint italian and mediteranean restaurant with the same quality food and passion

It's been 1 years since the passing of my wonderful husband Vasilios . He was the best chef and the most loving caring man always with a smile on his face. I would like to thank all of you that supported us throughout the wonderful years we were in business both vasilios and I were honored to serve you and knew you all like family. My beautiful husband of 32 years has earned his wings.He was the most spectacular man I've ever known. Bill and I shared 32 wonderful years together.not only as husband and wife or business partners, but most of all as best friends. When I met him, I was not just attracted to him, I was attracted to his creativity and artistic abilities as the most spectacular chef I've ever known. Before Bill came to America, he worked on cruise ship as a chef which inspired him to fulfill the American dream. Not long after he he succeeded. Bill started working in New Jersey as a dishwasher ,Bill couldn't speak English, but with the hard work and determination, he learned the language fast and excelled into an executive chef.one of the happiest moments of his life was when his accomplishments were acknowledged by gourmet magazine as they suggested he display his talents by entering a competition with 5,000 people. 75 people made the cut and Bill was one of them, Bill is registered in America's outstanding chefs of America. Bill had a passion for food and flavor, but it wasn't until we met that we discovered our passion for love and lif,as Paul Anka wrote My Way" my darling husband you certainly didall your way.My husband Bill will be missed beyond words and my life without him will never be the same,Rest in peace my sweet man .Until we meet again or I'll see you over the rainbow. Thank you to my family in L.A.and close friends in Ft myers for all the love and support during this heartbreaking battle. I love you my darling Vassilios ,

Happy New Year to all our beautiful customers, we wish you all so much health and happiness. This year has been a trying year with many opsticles, with personal issues and then hurricane Ian,our house got flooded then burned down and then unfortunately the restaurant building is very damaged so we are looking out for a new location and hopefully we will get an even better spot. We would like to thank all of you for always supporting us the past 20 years, we will prevail, and when( God willing) we get the right spot we hope to see you then. I'm sorry I haven't reached out to most of you but I lost all our contacts due to the damage of the restaurant, but I'm sure I'll see u around,until then God bless you all ,stay safe and healthy .
